These are scary times. It is of tremendous grace that the future unfolds one day at a time. It’s okay to be scared and it is okay not to feel okay but we make sure that we would not let the fear and the feelings paralyze us. We face and deal with reality as they unfold but we take it with optimism in our hearts.
Words are so important especially during these times of danger and uncertainty. We need to choose our words carefully. Words that would encourage and offer hope. So here are some helpful words from famous people. Perhaps they can offer you encouragement even as we go through difficult times:
- Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards. – Soren Kierkegaard
- Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less. – Marie Curie
- Life is ten percent what happens to you and ninety percent how you respond to it. – Charles Swindoll
- But I know, somehow, that only when it is dark enough can you see the stars. – Martin Luther King, Jr
Loving words can soothe a heart. Gracious words can smooth the way. Timely words can lessen stress. Thoughtful words can make us feel secure. God’s word can change, heal and bless the soul. Always be a blessing and an encouragement to others. We should be good reasons why we are in people’s life.
