Real Action

Have you ever felt compassion for someone going through a hard time? Some people say they do but the most they accomplish is “don’t worry, I will pray for you”. And then there are those who may not say much but they spring into action. SERVING, GIVING, HELPING. They don’t do it for recognition. They do it because they genuinely care.

Joy and happiness are not in the taking and the receiving but in the giving and the sharing. Take a look at those who have given especially to the Front Liners during these times of difficulties, there is joy in their heart that cannot be explained. You will see them smile in social media, and yet we don’t know the real action and pressure behind the scenes.

The most powerful force in life is LOVE. The most crippling failure disease in life is EXCUSES. Helping those with difficulties is COMPASSION. Working with happiness is ENTHUSIASM. Understanding other’s pains is EMPATHY. Giving the best of ourselves is SINCERITY. Trusting that God is in control is FAITH. The ugliest personality trait is SELFISHNESS. The most satisfying work is HELPING OTHERS. Receiving blessings with silence is HUMILITY. And the most beautiful attire is SMILE.

To give without any reward, or any notice, has a special quality of its own. This is why Scriptures say that “when you give do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing.” To give with full expectation of recognition is not giving. It is merely a transaction and you lose its real reward. Pray for the pandemic situation and extend help to those who need it most during this time.
