It has been said that continuous improvement is better than delayed perfection. Success goals and objectives cannot be achieved unless there is consistent improvement no matter small and incremental they are. Success requires a process. Do not be impatient. Do not seek instant dramatic success. Be intentional in seeking growth and development. Three words I love to self talk, Level Up Daily!
Don’t be obsessed with wanting to achieve grand leaps. “One-time, big time!” or “All or nothing!” Concentrate more on gradual steps of improvement. Slow but steady. Quiet and consistent. This is the way to achieve goals and success.
What you do every day is more important than what you do once in a while. You can’t lose weight by going to the gym for two-hours whenever you feel to. You can achieve it by walking even for 30 minutes daily. Behind every person’s productivity, you see CONSISTENCY. To have this, create a routine. Routine creates a framework for inspiration and creativity. This is true and even more so when we are working from home. Routine matters.
I saw this in one of the posts in Facebook, and it’s a good advice. It says, “Make sure that you are better in person and in character than what you feature and present in your social media.” But better still, let the person and the persona be consistent and identical. There is a term for this and it is called Integrity.
